The five pillars of a lasting plan

  1. 05

    Legacy

Wills, trusts and the plan for passing it on.

  2. 04

    Retirement

Income designed to last a lifetime.

  3. 03

    Investments

    Long-term growth, managed with discipline.

  4. 02

    Protection

Insurance and risk management for the unexpected.

  5. 01

    Foundation

    Cash flow, budgeting and savings.

Two ways to do money

Most people’s money runs on autopilot. Yours doesn’t have to.

Here’s how financial stuff usually gets handled—pieced together over the years, nobody actually driving. Then there’s the other way.

The old model

A little of this, a little of that.

  • An insurance guy

Sold you a policy when you bought the house. You hear from him at renewal.

  • A mortgage guy

Got you the rate, then vanished. You have no idea if it still makes sense.

  • No tax help

Every April you file and hope you didn’t leave money on the table.

  • A 401(k) HR signed you up for

A default fund you picked in four minutes and haven’t opened since.

The result

Meet Jordan, 28. Four financial contacts, zero financial strategy—and nobody asking what he actually wants his life to look like.

  • Living paycheck to paycheck.
  • No retirement. No savings.
  • No down payment ready for a house. Ever.

A hypothetical. But a familiar one.

The new model

One plan. One relationship. Every part coordinated.

  • One coordinated plan

We own the relationship and bring in the specialists—CPAs, attorneys, insurance carriers, custodians—so the pieces finally work together.

  • Every dollar has a job

Your whole financial picture in one view, so nothing sits around doing nothing.

  • A real, ongoing relationship

Not a once-a-year renewal call. A team that knows your name, your family and what you're working toward.

  • Built around what matters to you

Define what matters, steward it wisely, protect it well—and build the freedom to be generous.

The result

Same Jordan, 28. One plan, started with his first paycheck, built around what he actually values—and reviewed as life changes.

By 60, he has about $290,000 in his investment accounts.

Just $250 a month: $96,000 he set aside plus roughly $193,000 of hypothetical growth, assuming a steady 6% annual return—the same math our calculator uses. Illustration only; markets go up and down and nothing is guaranteed.

The checklist

5 things to have in place by 30

You don't need everything figured out, but these five set the foundation for everything else.

1

An emergency fund

Three to six months of essential expenses set aside, so a surprise bill or job change doesn't knock your plan off course.

2

A retirement account you're contributing to

Whether it's a 401(k) through work or an IRA on your own, starting early gives your money decades to grow.

3

The right insurance

Health insurance to cover the unexpected, and life insurance if anyone depends on your income. It's often most affordable when you're young and healthy.

4

A will and updated beneficiaries

If you have a spouse, kids, or anything you'd want to pass on, a will makes your wishes clear. Check that your accounts name the right beneficiaries too.

5

A plan for your money, not just a budget

A clear picture of what's coming in, what's going out, and where each dollar is headed, including what you want to give.

Not sure where you stand? That's exactly what we help with.

The power of consistency

Investment calculator.

Pick a monthly amount and a time horizon to see how steady investing could add up over time — in an IRA, a 401(k), or any account you choose.

Years to grow

Hypothetical value after 30 years

$251,129

$250/month · 6% assumed annual return

Your contributions

$90,000

Hypothetical growth

$161,129

For illustration only, not investment advice or a forecast. Assumes a $0 starting balance, a constant 6% annual rate compounded monthly and contributions at the end of each month. This is an illustrative assumption, not a promised return. Figures exclude fees, taxes and inflation. Actual returns fluctuate, investments can lose value, and results are not guaranteed.

One relationship. One plan that knows your family.

Who wants a tax person here, an insurance person there and an investment person somewhere else with nobody connecting them? What about one trusted relationship that knows their family by name and coordinates the specialists behind the scenes.

That's why planning and advice are available through a straightforward monthly membership. Where we also manage investments, that work is disclosed separately, in writing, before anything begins—so you always know exactly what you're paying for and why.

"You shouldn't have to choose between pieces of advice. Your financial life deserves one relationship holding it together."

Meet the founder

Alex Asher.

Alex started Asher Heritage with a simple frustration: the people who need financial guidance most are usually told they don’t have “enough” to deserve it. So he built the firm he wished existed—one licensed team, one plan, open to anyone earning a paycheck.

His credentials span the very disciplines the firm coordinates, so when Alex and his team give you advice, it’s grounded in the licenses and training behind every part of your financial house.

Licensed Insurance Agent

Licensed to advise on and place life, health and asset-protection policies.

FINRA Series 7 Examination

Passed the General Securities Representative exam—qualified to discuss and recommend a wide range of securities and investments.

Fiduciary-minded planning

Guidance built to serve your family’s interests first, coordinated with your other trusted professionals.
